Concerts……I’m over it.
It has finally happened. After spending years of attending the most epic concerts of my life. I think I am officially over it. I’m 42 and finally feel like an old lady.
My Hubby and I recently went to see CREED in Palm Beach FL. The music was amazing. However, the drink prices, parking and traffic were not.
2 drinks cost $51.00. Not the mention, my constant need to go to the bathroom. I prefer an aisle seat. Whether it’s a play, airplane, or concert.
I like the option to just use the bathroom whenever I feel like it.
I hate having to hold my pee and suffer just to avoid bothering strangers sitting next to me.
At the Creed concert, our seats were snack in the middle row.
Towards the end of the concert, I simply stayed near the bathrooms and waited for Jonathan to meet up with me later. I just didn’t want to go back and forth to my seat.
It took us an hour just to exit the parking lot and another hour to drive home. Total cost of drinks for the entire night was just about $150.00. Ouch.
I am literally DONE. Lol.
Let me also add the constant worry of a sudden thunderstorm ruining a show. Lady Gaga and KISS were rained out last year.
We have 1 more concert to attend in November at the Hard Rock Casino. And that is it for a long while. It’s too expensive and too busy.
I rather be home on my couch watching TV with my Dog. I told my Husband, don’t buy any more concert tickets. Please STOP.
