Perimenopause

All seriousness.  I am turning 43 next month and I have already started the symptoms of Perimenopause.

My biggest challenge these days are night sweats and insomnia.  I have tried taking vitamins.  Adjusting my diet.

It doesn’t seem to help that much.  I didn’t think I would feel this way this soon.  But apparently, its very common. 

The exact age at which perimenopause starts can vary from woman to woman. Perimenopause typically begins in a woman's 40s, but the specific age . The duration of perimenopause can also vary, lasting anywhere from a few months to several years.

Mentally my 40’s have been amazing. My depression is under control.  I’m happier.   Physically, I’m struggling.  I’m tired all the time.

I have had to cut back on alcohol and spicy foods.  They definitely trigger a hot flash and migraine.

I continue to exercise and eat healthy. But I am so so tired.  

I’ve been looking at this new book for sale called SUSTAIN ME.  By Barbara O’Neill.  I’ve seen her videos on tik tok and she’s all about natural remedies.

It’s Christian based and I love her even more for it.  I’m hoping it will guide me to a healthier lifestyle.  Just maybe there is something in that book that can help with these symptoms.

Anyways, back to my deteriorating self. 

My hair is thinning. I have more wrinkles on my face. My knees hurt when I bend down. And I forget what I’m saying mid-sentence lol.

I just didn’t expect my body to change so quickly!  I really hope I can find a way to tackle this change and enjoy life without sweating so much.
