TIME FLIES - 20yrs

May 22, 2004 – Our 20yr Wedding Anniversary is on the way.

I remember meeting Jonathan when I was only 19.  It was Martin Luther King Day.   January 20th, 2002.

I was auditioing for the Anne Frank play at Broward College – Central Campus.

Jonathan was working on the set.  He was asked to help me read a few lines on stage.

Instant connection when we met. We had breakfast after my audition and soon started dating.

2 years later and we were married on the beach of  Marco Island, FL at Sunset.

Our Wedding was only 35 people, including the Bride and Groom.

We were only 22 when we were newlyweds.  We found a small studio apartment right on A1A – facing the beach.

Rent back then was $680 a month.  Security deposit was $500.  That was expensive to us back then.

Oh and I forgot to mention, I did get the role in Anne Frank.  I played Anne’s Mother. Lol.

Anyways, we went from apartment to apartment, to mobile home, to a house in Sunrise.

We plan to celebrate this month with the Air & Sea Show and a concert by Brooks and Dunn.

We just want to let loose. Get a nice tan and have an American beer!

I’m off from work tomorrow and I plan to spend time with my Dog.  Do a little yoga. Maybe write on my blog.  Get ready for the Concert.

Cowgirl boots and hat are mandatory 😉

I am feeling good this week.  Things seem to be calming down. I feel less agitated. Free from stress.

This year is definitlety speeding by.  How is it May already?  Just in January we were house hunting.

I don’t know but I am ready for summer fun! Bring it!
